Dilmunfast Deutsch Drahthaar
OUR DOGS
Our dogs
are truly a family project. We all participate in the
training, upkeep, testing and hunting of our dogs. After
all, how versatile is a dog that will only obey or hunt
for one person.

Ira vom
Moorehaus is currently the only dog in our breeding program. Ira’s wonderful
temperament and consistent performance are
her hallmarks. She is a wonderful family dog but an absolute demon in the pursuit of game. When upland hunting, she is a close working dog with a steady
methodical search. Ira is a consistant and proven retriever that will not quit if sent after game. She has the nose, mental focus and discipline necessary to be one of the only Drahthaars in the United States to have completed the VGP, Btr, and the 20 hour VSwP and 40 hour VSwP. Ira is truly a dog that
desires to please her master, if she understands what
she is being asked to do, she’ll do it or die trying.

Artemis vom Dilmunfast
We plan to include Artemis (Anna) from our "A" litter in our breeding program. She was handled in the VJP by our daughter Kaylee and earned a very respectable score of 66 points. I handled her at the HZP and scored 176 points. She successfully completed the VGP with a score of 269 and a prize I.
She has been seeing duty in Arkansas retrieving ducks and more importantly recovering cripples.
We are still evaluating her for a place in our breeding program.
Our newest addition came to us from Whit Johnston's kennel. His name is Kriegor. He has shown great promise both in the field and home so far. He has tremendous prey drive and conversely the hardest point of any of our dogs.
He is being prepared for the VJP next year.
